St. Barbara Parish offers a fun-filled faith formation program for all children

Religious Education

St. Barbara Parish offers faith formation for children that is grounded in Scripture, Church Tradition, and prayer. Children in grades 1-5 are welcome to join us for lessons and activities that foster a lifelong practice of the Catholic faith.

The goal of our religious education program is to assist parents in the religious, moral, and spiritual formation of their children. We recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children, teaching by word and example, and our catechists support this by providing quality faith formation in a faith-filled and nurturing environment. Through this program, our children will grow in love of God and neighbor, and form a strong foundation by which they will grow and develop their God-given gifts and talents.

Religious Education classes are held on Sunday mornings, September through May, from 9:00-10:00am. There is a fee of $65 per child. We ask that families interested in registering for our Religious Education program are also active, registered parishioners of St. Barbara Parish. All are welcome to join our faith community and journey with us toward Christ!
